Beck Design Group was working with a homeowner who’s home had been suffering from major sinking and cracking. The home was built by their previous builder and was built on poor soil. As we did our investigation to determine the cause of the home’s sinking, we discovered that there was three feet of buried trees under the home!
Our plan was to provide structural remediation and repair to the home. We completely excavated the material from underneath the home to remove the unstable and poorly-repaired soil. As you can see from the pictures on this page, we gave this structure a reliable and proper foundation that will support this home for a long time.
