Charlotte Fort Mill Custom Home Builder Profile on Adam & Becky Ferrara at Beck Design Group

Adam Ferrara, a 6th generation Charleston native, graduated from the College of Charleston where he majored in Business and Communications.  He started is home building career in 1999 with John Wieland Homes in Charleston.  In 2002, Adam went to a Halloween party where he met Rebecca, whom he calls Becky.  Becky is a Clemson graduate with a Masters degree in Accounting. 

Adam and Becky moved to Charlotte in 2001 when Adam was transferred to the Charlotte Division of John Wieland Homes.  Becky became a NC-licensed CPA and secured a job with Cherry, Bekaert & Holland in Uptown.  In 2005, Adam was recruited to be a project manager with Toll Brothers, one of the largest luxury Beck Design Group is your Charlotte Fort Mill custom home builder.home builders in the United States.  Adam was responsible for the installation of all utilities, roads, building pads and new home construction.  While with Toll Brothers, Adam and his team constructed over $35 million in homes and $2 million in infrastructure.

You probably can tell by the photos on this page that Adam likes to build beautiful homes with the high attention to quality and the finishing details.  The interior of their home, pictured on this page, certainly expresses the couple’s eye for detail.  Ornate columns, wrought iron railings, a stone fireplace, and many art niches describe just a sampling of the elegant decorating touches and finishes.  Arched openings and exquisite lighting add to the overall charm of their home.

When the housing slump hit, the couple used the downturn as a catapult to create Beck Design Group, LLC.  They moved to Fort Mill in 2008 and set up shop in Baxter Town Center.

Adam holds his general contractor’s license in North Carolina and South Carolina.  His clients like his mind for renovation, remodel and new construction.  Clients enjoy his creative expression as well as his calm client-management style!
